Stonecutter Damage Fix
The "Stonecutter Damage" bugfix.
This mod fixes a long-standing vanilla bug: the stonecutter block does not deal any damage, even though it visually has a rotating blade. When a player or any mob stands on a stonecutter, they receive damage, exactly as it should have worked from the start.
What this mod does:
- Restores the missing stonecutter damage in vanilla Minecraft.
- Works on players and all mob types (passive, hostile, etc.).
- No extra features, no bloat – only the fix.
New in version 2.0.0 - Improved placement
Now the stonecutter can be placed on walls and on the ceiling! Like in mods for additional block placement (like Additional Placements), but only for the stonecutter.
At the same time:
- all and ceiling stonecutter fully retains damage.
- The mechanic only works on versions Fabric-1.21.11 and NeoForge-1.21.11
- It's still as simple as ever - no settings, just place the block wherever you want.
It is compatible with the following mod loaders and versions:
- Forge: 1.16.5, 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.19.4, 1.20.1, 1.20.4, 1.21.1
- Fabric: 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.19.4, 1.20.1, 1.20.4, 1.21.11
- NeoForge: 1.21.11
The mod is lightweight and safe to add to existing modpacks. No configuration needed, works out of the box.
